Meet the Board

Nadine Sansone
Nadine Sansone
President
nsansone@eyhbc.org

Nadine is originally from New Jersey where her love of hockey started as a college student attending Devils games. Her rink side presence would continue as she cheered on her husband at adult league games in CA, NC and Vegas. In 2015 she enrolled her 2010 birth year son, Nick, in learn to skate and learn to play programs. From then on the local rink became a home away from home.

In the spring of 2020 her husband received new military orders which resulted in a move to Lake Stevens. Nadine has a passion for volunteering and being involved. Whether it’s serving food at a soup kitchen, acting as a family readiness officer during her husband’s deployments or taking a fundraising lead with youth sport teams, she’s always eager to lend a helping hand.

Nadine looks forward to working with YHPE to help support and grow our youth hockey programs.

Anne is originally from the Midwest where she grew up in Michigan. She moved to Washington State in 2006 and since being here she has become a fan of the local WHL Everett Silvertips. Her son has been playing with the Everett Hockey program since 2014. Anne wanted to become more involved in the local hockey community so she joined the Youth Hockey Partners of Everett in 2018 to help grow hockey within our community. Anne was President of YHPE from 2018-2020. You will now find Anne sitting at the 50/50 table during the Everett Silvertips games since becoming the YHPE General Manager in 2021. She loves to chat and get to know her fellow hockey fans so make sure to stop by the table to say hello!
Troy Hanson
Troy Hanson
Vice President, Treasurer
thanson@eyhbc.org
I am originally from North Dakota which is where my love of hockey began as a passionate fan of the UND Fighting Sioux that continues to this day. When I eventually settled in the Puget Sound area, I immediately became a fan of the Seattle Thunderbirds, having attended numerous games in their various venues over the years. When my son Oliver began playing hockey with EYH a few years back, I became a Silvertips fan for good. I enjoy watching hockey at all levels, love talking hockey, and want to do what I can to help grow the game in the area.
Kayla Delaney
Kayla Delaney

Kayla is originally from Michigan where her love of hockey started. After moving to Washington she discovered the Silvertips and has been a season ticket holder ever since. She got her nephew who was born in 2010 involved in the EYH beginner program when he was 5 and he currently finished his 1st year in 10U on the Jr. Silvertips. Since joining the board in 2018 she has had a very active role in trying to grow the hockey community. She helps run the YHPE social media accounts and is always volunteering at events including Try Hockey For Free. She helps put together the annual Elf Dash that’s done during the Silvertips Game as well. The last 2 seasons she has helped put together the goodie and swag bags for the Tournament teams along with making the door signs this year to add an extra touch to the EYH Tournaments. She is currently the YHPE Secretary so please make sure to say hello if you see her at the rink and let her know if you have an suggests for YHPE.

Megan was born and raised in the Bothell and Snohomish area. She was introduced to hockey as a teenager watching her baby sister play and since has always loved the game. Her and her husband’s favorite team is the Chicago Blackhawks, but can’t wait to see what the Kraken brings to the table for this area. She has two boys, both of which that are in the program, one in 12U and the other in 10U. Megan is elated over the opportunity to help promote and educate the surrounding communities about this amazing sports program. Through her service on YHPE board she looks forward to being apart of the positive impact and the growth this league and association will have on many families. There is nothing out there like a hockey family.
