Our name change to YHPE
October 5, 2018

Over the past few months, we've been discussing changing our name to help distinguish between EYH and EYHBC. We received ideas and submissions from many of you and have landed on a new name & logo! DRUM ROLL PLEASE...

We will now operate as the Youth Hockey Partners of Everett!

We want to thank you all for your input and continued support and as mentioned above — our new name will help relieve the confusion between EYH and EYHBC. While we have a new name, our goal remains the same: enhancing the overall hockey experience for all youth hockey programs in our community.

*shout out to A. Raye Designs for creating our new logo!

Introducing our new General Manager
October 5, 2018

WE'VE GOT SOME NEWS! We'd like to introduce you to our new General Manager of the YHPE — Gary Hale. He will be overseeing all day-to-day operations which include Try Hockey for Free, 50/50 Raffle, partnership development, fundraising, and anything else that will help build our hockey community. Do us a favor and welcome Gary and his family to the YHPE fam!

Here's a personal note from Gary via Facebook:

"Hello hockey fans, hockey dads, hockey moms, and hockey players! I am extremely excited to join the team at EYHBC. Let me share a little bit about myself. I grew up in Southern California during the "Gretzky era", which is where my love for hockey began. I played travel hockey (roller & ice) all through high school and would spend all of my time in the rink if I could. I came up to the beautiful PNW for college 15 years ago and now call it home. I'm married with 2 little hockey playing dudes (we're divided in who we cheer for...Kings vs Canucks) and currently play in the GSHL. I've been involved in youth sports and non-profits all of my life and am extremely grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the EYHBC. I look forward to meeting all of you and learning how I can support the growth of our amazing sport in the coming years."
